About Roger

Roger at the BFL All American Championship 2004With more than 25 years of experience on Lake Livingston alone, Roger Dousay has been an avid fisherman for most of his life. From commercial fishing to guided parties and personal past time, Roger is very familiar with all of the popular and lesser-known fishin’ holes to be found on the lake. Your trip will be in a 20′ Skeeter bass boat with a 200HP Yamaha outboard motor.

Roger also fished for several years as a co-angler on the FLW Outdoors’ Bass Fishing League, where he qualified to compete in the “All-American Championship Tournament” in 2005 on Lake Hamilton located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. While fishing this tour, Roger started in the Everstart Series and later transitioned to the Stren Series tournament tours promoted by FLW Outdoors. During this timeframe, Roger focused on largemouth, Kentucky-spotted and smallmouth bass. His experience in these events contributed greatly to learning how to fish for other species in new, unfamiliar waters.

Whether you’re looking to learn how to fish for the first time, share the experience with your family, or just want a few pointers on how to change the game, Roger can help you have an enjoyable trip.
